life2O Soil pH Test Strips are used to measure the pH of the soil in gardens, potted plants, lawns, and basically anywhere you have soil and plants. Measuring the soil pH level is very important as each type of plant requires a different pH level for healthy growth. In some cases, the wrong pH of the soil can cause nutrient lock-out which will cause your plants to die.
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly equal amounts of garden soil & water, wait 20 min. and immerse the strip into the mix for 2 seconds.
2. Hold the strip sideways & horizontally so the excess solution drips off, wait 15 seconds.
3. Match the strip color pad pairs to the color chart pairs on the product bottle label. To read the correct pH value, find the closest matching pair between the color chart and the used strip.

Time to Read: 15 seconds
Most plants prefer a pH of 6.5, however you can check the table enclosed in the product to find the optimum soil pH value for your specific plant. If the pH is down (below 7 – acidic) it will create a sour taste. If the pH is up (above 7 – alkaline or alkalinity) it will create a sweet taste.

This is the first test strip product I found that provides a lot of strips for a very low price. Most tests are like 3 for $11. I like to test more than once without worrying about a high price. It works well. I was glad I read that the ph strip is supposed to be orange. I thought it was defective. A truly helpful and useful product a a price point that makes it useful. I usually don't say this but thanks!

Very accurate. I took a urine sample from my wife knowing that she has an urinary tract infection and the strip showed that condition accurately. Also the ph level between me and my wife was different, as I expected, due to I'm following an alkaline diet. My ph reading was higher than hers. Definitely recommend it!
